Alumnus Cole Larravide returns to GW to perform his 2020 NEXT Senior Thesis Project - MOMENT OF ESCAPE
Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 7:30 pm at Hammer Auditorium!
An electric concert performance of original songs and improvised jams featuring Cole Larravide on guitar & vocals, Will Saar on drums, Jake Simpson on guitar, and Gray Yachup on bass.
Cole Larravide - Composer, Vocals, Guitar
After graduating from Montgomery College, Cole Larravide transferred to George Washington University, where he studied theatre, journalism and mass communications. He graduated summa cum laude in 2020. Throughout the years, he has written a collection of songs that he is excited to bring to the Corcoran stage with his band of close friends and musical collaborators.
Will Saar - Drums / Keyboard
Will attended the University of Maryland, graduating with a master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering in 2021. He currently works as a fire protection consultant in Rockville, MD, and enjoys playing music in his free time.
Jake Simpson - Guitar / Bass
Jake Simpson teaches six different instruments at GIGS in Kensington, MD, and is also the head sound engineer in the recording studio at Georgetown Preparatory School. When he is not teaching or recording music, he can be found playing shows in Maryland and D.C. He is excited to be a part of bringing this project to life on the Corcoran stage.
Gray Yachup - Bass / Drums
A graduate of Goucher College, Gray has loved playing music his whole life. He is currently working with the House of Representatives, where he is responsible for community outreach. It is his passion for making connections with others that drives his passion for music, and he is excited to help Cole bring his musical ideas to life.
