UPDATE 2/29: Chris and Josh now have SEVEN boats lined up, so we'll be taking 14 wheelchair anglers out for a great day of cobia fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. They have invited us back for another cobia fishing tournament out of Lynnhaven Inlet. The event is in memory of Chris's son, Cole Beard, tragically lost his life in the Fall of 2021. Cole was an avid outdoorsman and active in his high school ROTC. Lunch and an awards dinner will be provided. This event is RESTRICTED to manual wheelchair users only!Chris raises funds to cover the cost of the event and also make a donation to our VAWS program and one other charity of his choosing. This year, the second organization will be Matthew-Smiles.org. This organization works hard on youth suicide prevention, mental health awareness and giving youth options for help.
