Troops, Due to unforeseen circumstances the annual lunch on Sunday 7th September 2025 has had to been cancelled due to the Venue holding their own 80th Anniversary celebrations and for this they needed to close the carpark at the premises to house the event.
I have negotiated a new date with the club the new date is Sunday 12th October 2025, 1230 for 1300hrs and the same menu as below.
I am sorry for any inconvenience caused and our date was booked last year. I hope you all will still be able to attend. Could you please email me back to let me know if you are attending.
This is a special year for the Regiment as it is our 375th anniversary so the more the merrier at this event would be fantastic.
The price and the menu's which are as follows:-
Menu
Starter
A-Farmhouse pate, salad garnish with toasted granary bread.
or
B-Carrot & coriander soup served with crusty bread
Main Course
A-Braised steak with red currant jus.
or
B-Roast pork, stuffing & chipolatas.
or
C-Brie & cranberry tart.
All served with roast potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables
Dessert
A-Homemade lemon meringue cheesecake.
or
B-Golden syrup sponge with custard.
The price of the meal unfortunately due to inflation has gone up by £1.00 to £26.00.
Could you please let me know asap if you are attending, names of who are attending with plus their and your choice of menu either by email/text or verbally at the next meeting.
Payment will be taken at the next meeting on Wednesday 13th August 2025 or on the day of the event.
If you wish to bring a raffle prize for the event that would be fantastic and all will be gratefully accepted.
This is our more formal event so the order of dress is blazers or suits for the gents medals if you wish and ladies whatever your comfortable in for the occasion, within reason of course🙈🤣.
