COLD TURKEY FEST PREP!!! Intro to ENDURO RACING!! W/David Walker III.

**THIS CLINIC IS LED BY DAVID WALKER III**

David is the race director for the Cold Turkey Mountain Bike Fest at Turkey Mountain. He has been integral with founding, running, and making it an incredible event. He knows the trails like the back of his hand. He is a part of the trail maintenance and creation crew. His riding skill, business knowledge, local connections and calm demeanor has been a huge part of the success of the Cold Turkey and other events at Turkey Mountain.

Who is this for?

-The rider who is thinking about entering an Enduro Race, but has hesitations.

-We wil help EASE those nerves, guide you down Enduro Trails, talk about line choice, technique, effectively attacking trail sections, increasing your speed, building your confidence, SAFELY progressing your riding.

-Maybe you need an environment and the encouragement to to get you down particularly challenging spots.

-You enjoy direct instruction, and are OK with postive, scaffolded, and encouraging feedback.

-Someone who prefers learning in a small group setting.

-16 yrs. and up.

This Clinic Includes

-On trail coaching, navigating, assessing and talking about line choice.

-We will talk about cornering effectively, approaching rock gardens, doubles, line choice or alt lines, body positioning and technique.

-Led by Coaches David and Joseph

-4:1 Rider to Coach ratio. We strive for each riders' success!

What to Bring

-A mountain bike in good functioning/mechanical condition.

-A helmet in good condition (full face optional).

-Closed toed shoes, made for mountain biking.

-Knee, elbow, body armor (optional).

-Water, snacks.
