Coffee with Nicole: A Lecture by Nicole English

An Afternoon with an Icon. If you don't know Nicole English, not only has she been a life-long dancer of many styles, so was her mother! Nicole always has a fascinating story (and sometimes a stunning photo to go with it), so I decided to have a sit-down event with her, so that we can hear them all (okay maybe not ALL of them), in chronological order, and with the corresponding photos. Not only a talented dancer, Nicole also has a PhD in the Sociology of Dance. She is a generous teacher of both dance itself, and its origins and history, with a great love of dance and an expertise in explaining it. Join us in exploring the life and adventures of one of Kansas City's OG belly dancers! Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. Get cozy with us with a drink and a snack, while Nicole spills the tea (pun intended).
