About this Event

COFFEE THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE

Season 1 — Episodes 1–3

Come hang out with Goshen for an evening of coffee, film, and learning.

We’ll be screening Episodes 1–3 of Coffee the Universal Language, a film series exploring coffee and the people, places, and ideas behind what ends up in your cup.

Alongside the screening, we’ll be doing an educational acid tasting to explore one of the most important parts of coffee flavor: acidity.

🍋 ACID TASTING

We’ll be tasting 6 of the most commonly found acids in coffee:

  • Citric
  • Malic
  • Acetic
  • Phosphoric
  • Lactic
  • Tartaric

The goal? To taste them individually and better understand how different acids show up in coffee and affect the way we experience flavor.

🍿 FREE SNACKS + DRINKS

Your $15 ticket also gets you:

  • Free popcorn
  • Free candy
  • Free house-made sodas
  • Coffee
  • The film screening
  • Educational acid tasting

Basically, come watch a coffee movie, eat some snacks, drink some stuff, and learn some coffee shit.
