San Diego County Supervisor Nora Vargas (and CA Women Lead board member!) will lead a candid discussion to share about her leadership journey and the skills she has developed along the way that she finds to be the most useful tools in her toolbox to be an effective appointed member of State board or commission.
Supervisor Vargas has served on numerous boards/commission throughout her stellar years of service and recently was appointed to California Air Resources Board.
CA Women Lead's Coffee Conversations are 30-minute virtual chat with CA Women Lead members on a topic to discuss important aspects of leadership especially pertinent to running for office or seeking an appointment. Coffee Conversations are a way for the members to connect with a board member and each other.
