Our guest for the Coffee is local artist Fred Crawford.
He has completed four, 55 gallon barrels with notable historic neighborhood people and places painted on the sides and lids. They will go to four neighborhoods as a 3-D portable monument for their own use. These neighborhoods chose the subjects for their barrels back in April and will receive them at the monthly coffee. Fred will have a sampling of his art on display in the Chamber community room. Be the first to see the NEW Barrel-art for our neighborhood. It is a FREE ticket.
He is a graduate of Fine Arts from Penn Valley Community College and the Kansas City Art Institute.
The neighborhoods receiving barrels are:
Indian Mound, Paseo West, Pendleton Heights and Scarritt Renaissance
They can be picked up by neighborhood representatives after this presentation.
