Join us for a casual conversation exploring current exhibitions led by Virginia MOCA staff and guest speakers. This month, we will be joined by Dana Sizemore, Executive Director of the Virginia Beach Surf & Rescue Museum. As we explore the gallery, Sizemore will share her personal and professional connections to select works of art on view in Duke Riley: O'er the Wide and Plastic Sea.

MORE ABOUT DANA SIZEMORE
A lifelong Virginia Beach resident, Dana Sizemore became Executive Director of the Virginia Beach Surf & Rescue Museum in 2021, following her tenure with Lynnhaven River Now. She has actively contributed to the community by serving as Secretary for the Surfrider Foundation, volunteering with Surfer’s Healing, and supporting her daughter's elementary school through the PTA’s Beautification and Hospitality Committees. Passionate about fostering connections, Dana looks forward to building partnerships with local organizations and engaging the community in Virginia Beach’s rich maritime history.
