Cody & Friends - Wonder Women of Magic

The Cody & Friends Magical Variety Show series has been a much bigger success than I could have imagined. You all had fun at the first two and we'll keep them coming. Our third one is one I've been looking forward to for two reasons:

1. Because I've invited two friends from well beyond the Louisville metro area for the first time

2. This line-up is entirely of women in the art of magic!

On Sat. Feb. 25th at 7 PM at the Highview Arts Center, Cody & Friends will be hosting the Wonder Women of Magic, featuring

Kayla Drescher: She's one of Cody's best friends, both inside and outside of magic. She's also quite accomplished. For starters, on NBC's Today Show, she won David Copperfield's talent contest for the "Next Great Magician". She also performs for clients all over the nation, including Microsoft, IBM, CBS Interactive, Lyndon State College, Castleton College, The Make-a-Wish Foundation, and many more! She is currently the resident bar magician of the Chicago Magic Lounge and hosts the Shezam Podcast, which seeks to make itself obsolete by creating positive change towards acceptance of minority groups within the magic community.

Amanda Lindsey: Also known as the magician with two first names, she's another dear friend of Cody's from St. Louis. She has been performing her act full-time for over four years and produces astonishing feats of magic. She also creates unique presentations for every routine she learns, never settling for simply doing what everyone else does. When she performs, she produces an ambiance to the venue that leaves people laughing and wanting more.

Joanna Lodgson: She is the current rising star of the Louisville Magic Club, having been on their It's Magic annual fundraiser shows, winning the Junior division of their 2022 Close-Up Magic Contest, and being featured on the Stars of Tomorrow show at the Society of American Magicians annual convention in Las Vegas in 2021. Her routines are set within her young life, often showcasing her frustrations with homework, school, and being on youth sports teams.

And I will be emceeing, sharing a mix of crowd favorites and new routines I've been working on.
