Coding Drones Workshop | Coding Club | St Helens

Join our Digital Arts Box Coding Drones workshop for a thrilling coding adventure.

In this engaging session, your young person will explore the exciting world of drone flying while mastering block-based coding. They will navigate their drone through fun games, all guided by their unique code creations.

Earn points, engage in friendly competitions, and aim for victory. But beware—crashes mean going back to the drawing board, adding an element of strategy and creativity.

No prior experience is required for any activity, and all equipment will be provided by us. Our friendly tutors will be there to support you every step of the way.

Who can get involved?

This club is for young people aged 11-16 from St Helens.

When is this club?

This club is on Monday 4th November 2024, 4pm - 6pm.

Where will the workshop take place?

St Helens Library, The World of Glass, Chalon Way E, WA10 1BX****The car park at the venue allows you 10 minutes FREE parking ONLY for drop off and pick up. If you are going to stay longer, there is a charge payable at the venue.****

How much does it cost?

This project is funded by the LF Foundation for young people from St Helens from disadvantaged backgrounds. The fund is administered by The Community Foundation for Lancashire and Merseyside, therefore it is free to attend.

What equipment should I bring?

Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
