Cocooning, or wrapping the body, is a spiritual midwifery practice to support the nervous system which also gifts us time for peace and silence- an active process of going inward.
The gentle feeling of the blankets surrounding you curates the sensation of care, allowing space to fully exhale anything we may be holding onto and to rest into what is most true for us in the moment..
This is transitional medicine, it supports time of change & especially in the changes of Peri & Menopause. We conclude this deep ritual by inviting you to unfurl and unwrap, emerging into your intentional devotion to yourself.
Gentle lightly guided movement follows to support your somatic ritual of deeply feeling what is true for you in your body.
Imagine stretching into every inch of your life and mending it with refreshed energy.
We will be integrating our ritual through reflective writing and care-filled discussion.
Think of this as a mini retreat for yourself to explore what your body, mind and energy has been whispering to you in this time of great Pause.
Untended trauma is everywhere, desensitizing us. This is the conscious work of Becoming sensitive to YourSelf.
Asking & feeling “How are you, really?” Right here & now.
If you have ever wanted to experience ancient healing in a tangible way, this is an experience for you.

*Mats & blankets provided. Bring a blanket, sheet, pillow, and/or eye covering for extra comfort. A water bottle to refresh yourself. *A special place to reflect, a journal or paper & something write with.

Street parking is available nearby (meters are free 6PM-8AM and on Sundays).
The Capitol Square North Garage and the Dayton/Pinckney Ramp are your best options for garage parking.
Ether Wellness is located on the 3rd floor above The Old Fashioned (no elevator access). Look for the entrance under the “Wisconsin is King” sign.
For Accessibility, please note that there is NO elevator and 3 short flights of stairs.
Please arrive NO LATER than 9:30AM, the doors automatically lock then & we will begin promptly.
