About Cocoon:
A queer space for everyone: for a more inclusive, caring and creative Cambodia. A cocoon is a safe and brave space for caterpillars to transform into butterflies – they go through a protected process of un-becoming who they were (the cute, fun caterpillars) for them to become who they can be (the beautiful, free butterflies).Cocoon is dreamt to be that space for queer people and everyone, a space grounded on curious exploration, nurturing growth, and creative expression. We believe queer people within Phnom Penh deserve a safe and brave space to belong, to heal, to express, to connect, and to thrive together.
