Please join us for cocktails with National Team rowers and coaches.

The Potomac River Sports Foundation invites you to meet PRSF-sponsored athletes and National Team coaches and to hear from them about the current landscape for US National Team selection and competition. You can learn more about about what the Potomac River Sports Foundation is doing to support world-class rowers training in the DC-area for international competition--including several athletes and coaches who were selected for the U23 World Championships and National Team ID camps in 2026. We want to do more. And we ask for your help in doing so.

Why give to the PRSF?

• Costs are steep. Rowing is one of the last true amateur sports. National athletic governing bodies do not fund the training, coaching, expenses, or travel for these athletes. Costs can total $10,000-15,000 or more just to go to trials, required selection camps, and international regattas--and often need to be paid within a day.
• The Potomac talent pool is growing. We reside in an area along the Potomac River that is producing top talent and getting national attention. We need to remain ready to support an increasing number of talented athletes.
• For more than 50 years, PRSF has been committed to supporting high-caliber rowers training in the Washington, DC area to represent their country at the international level. We provide deserving Potomac River athletes financial support for equipment, coaching, travel, and other related expenses for qualifying competitions. We depend on generous supporters like you.

Who should attend?

• Attend if you are interested in opportunities. Parents, coaches, and aspiring young athlete, come to learn about what PRSF can offer to qualified athletes.
• Attend if you are inspired to provide needed support--in any amount. Rowers and friends of rowing, come to learn about how you can play a role in continuing the Potomac River's legacy of excellence in rowing.

Your investment in PRSF is an investment in these young athletes and more. Your support for them also elevates the level of rowing on the Potomac River for years to come, inspiring the next generation of rowers and fostering a strong pipeline for the future recruitment of top athletes in the DC area.
