The INTUITIVE® Planetarium welcomes University of Alabama in Huntsville professor Dr. Sukanya Chakrabarti to shed light on the dark matters of the universe. Dark matter evaded detection until 1933 and has largely remained a mystery of the universe nearly a hundred years later. Push the frontiers of precision measurements with Dr. Chakrabarti as she uses the accelerations of stars to help detect dark matter distribution in our galaxy.
