Cocktails & Conversation: Joel Cox for City Council
About this Event
Hosted by: Scott Coors & Dr. David Hurt
Co-hosts: Brad Clark, Chris Nicholson, Tony Smith, Mardi Moore, Jack Rosenthal, and Tyler Quick
Spend an evening at the home of Scott Coors and Dr. David Hurt with Joel Cox, candidate for Denver City Council District 6, on Thursday, November 12, from 7–9 p.m.
Enjoy an open bar and complimentary small bites in a relaxed, welcoming setting. There will be plenty of time to mingle, meet new people, and talk about the future of our city.
Joel will share why he’s running and his pragmatic vision for a Denver where everyone has the opportunity to start a life, buy a home, and build a business. An environmental consultant and neighborhood advocate, Joel brings a focus on practical solutions and listening to the people who call Denver home.
We want to hear from you, too. The evening will include conversation, questions, and feedback about what’s working, what needs to change, and what you’d like your next councilmember to prioritize.
With LGBTQ+ community members among our hosts and guests, we’ll also recognize the importance of representation and bringing different voices into local government. Everyone is welcome. Come as you are, bring your ideas, and help imagine a city we can all take pride in.
Ticket purchases are contributions to Joel Cox’s campaign for Denver City Council, District 6, and will be reported as required by Denver campaign finance law.
