By popular request we will host an A&S stamping weekend at Lothar & Fastrada's property in Huffman!There have been many requests to set up time/space to teach others how to stamp fabric for garb and other projects - so let's get together!
Not interesting in stamping, but would like some social crafting time? Please join us! We have just gotten a few bolts of fabric for tabards, and hope to get a jump start on this project as well!
There will also be plenty of space for fighting and if there is interest, we might be able to set up more.
What to bring:
Fabric! We have experience with silk, linen, and cotton. Let us know if you have a different material you'd like to try.
Stamps/stencils - we have a bunch of stamps available, but if you have a special stamp or stencil you'd like to try, bring it!
Paints - we will have some paint available, but would welcome other supplies as well. We tend to use speedball fabric paint, but there are lots of great paints out there that work.
Sewing machines/Sergers/thread - the more the merrier!
Iron and Ironing boards - flat fabric makes for happy stamping, and fabric needs to be heat set after drying - so we expect to get a LOT of ironing done!
We will have wide paper for general patterning, and can have scribal gear available for any who are interested in charter painting.
