Coastal Parks Board Meeting - OTB Community Call to Action

OTB FAM — IT’S TIME TO SHOW UP. 💙🎣
We created this event because our beaches, piers, and fishing spaces need more than complaints in comment sections. They need voices in the room.
The Coastal Parks Board meeting is where we can get these concerns on record and ask that beach trash prevention, patrol accountability, trash management, public reporting, and community partnership be placed on the agenda for real discussion and future action.
They may not be able to take action that day unless the item is already on the agenda — but they CAN hear us. They CAN document the concern. And they CAN move it forward.
So we show up.
Not angry.
Not disrespectful.
But organized, united, and serious.
Cleanup treats the symptom.
We are going after the cause.
We want to see:
* Front-end prevention before trash hits the sand
* Stronger beach patrol accountability
* Better trash management before cans overflow
* Clear signage and expectations
* Visible enforcement for littering and dumping
* Public reporting on what is being done
* Real partnership with families, youth groups, and community organizations
OTB kids fish these waters.
OTB families use these beaches.
Our community deserves better.
This is how we teach our kids stewardship — not by complaining from the sidelines, but by showing up, speaking up, and protecting the places we love.
Wear your OTB gear if you have it. Bring your voice. Bring your family. Bring your pride for this coast.
Meeting Location:
Padre Balli Park Office Conference Room
15820 Park Road 22
Corpus Christi, TX 78418
Meeting Time:
Thursday, June 25
2:00 PM
Let’s pack the room respectfully and make sure this issue does not get ignored.
Clean beaches. Stronger community. Better future for our kids.
OTB — BE THE CHANGE. 💙
