Join the Friends of San Leandro Creek and COSL Council Member Corina Lopez for this joint event!
Bring a 5 gallon bucket or 2 so we can clean plastic free! We recommend that you wear sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves, mosquito repellant. Bring gloves if you have them. FSLC will provide snacks and drinks. For more information, call Susan Levenson with Friends of San Leandro Creek at 510-577-6069. All participants are required to fill out the waiver form. Children under 14 years of age are welcome at creek cleanups, but must be accompanied by an adult. The Friends will certify volunteer hours for community service for schools.
It’s up to all of us to keep our creek healthy!
Root Park is located at East 14th Street at Dan Niemi Way, One block north of Davis Street in downtown San Leandro.
