We are Masking this week!Welcome to the Hustle! We've shifted things in June as we'll have a dance June 30 for the 5th Sunday!
This 3rd Sunday is our Intro to Hustle Class and 5th Sunday will be Hustle for Fusion Dancers!
Join Manju & David to learn about this club dance that got it's start in the 70s! With it's quick to pick up steps and danceable to lots of music, Hustle has stayed with it for the long haul!
The Hustle is a dance style that emerged in the 1970s disco era, characterized by its energetic and upbeat movements. It draws influence from the Latin dance forms of the samba and the mambo, along with the fundamentals of swing dancing. The Hustle is known for its dynamic and fluid style; featuring a combination of fast footwork, spins, and flashy arm movements.
Coalescence is a Fusion Social Dance on 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays.
No partner necessary, come dance with everyone! We welcome all dancers, new and experienced from all styles.

BRING non-marking indoor shoes, socks, or go barefoot. Don't forget your water bottle and no gum please.
--Music starts with a bit more of our feature genre and transitions to our regular mix of fusion-able music!
--Lessons alternate each month between Fusion and another dance genre!
--1st Sundays: Fundamentals Lesson. Learn the basics of either Fusion or our featured dance style of the month!
--3rd Sundays: All-Levels lesson, good for new and experienced dancers. This lesson will highlight a specific topic to level up your dancing!
--5th Sundays: Specialty Lesson, all-levels. Something Partner Fusion adjacent, possibly solo based.

WE ARE MASKING.
Masking will be in effect when the BC Hazard Index is 6+.
The current numbers are: 9.0 (High)
Masks should be surgical or N95, no cloth masks.
We are no longer checking vaccination status.
