About this Event

Be a part of creating a more inclusive economy!
Colorado Solidarity Fund is thrilled to host our first ever Co-op Investment Pitch Event, November 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Metro Caring (1100 E 18th Ave, Denver, CO 80218).
Come mingle and connect with cooperative business founders, engaged residents, community leaders and local investors who are excited to learn about local cooperatives and to hear their requests for capital. Heavy appetizers and drinks will be served.

Who should attend?

Whether you've never invested in a local business or you are a veteran crowdfunding investor, this event is for you!
Each cooperative presenting will also make a request for capital, giving participants the chance to consider if they would like to invest on their own after the event.

How much does it cost?

At the door, we'll be asking for a sliding scale donation of $10-$30. As part of your registration, each person will have the chance to vote with your dollars—making a $10 contribution to a presenting business of your choice.

Who is Colorado Solidarity Fund?

Colorado Solidarity Fund is an investment club that transforms the relationship between investors, borrowers and capital in Colorado by providing small, non-extractive financing to Colorado-based cooperatives through an engaged and democratic process. Since our founding in 2018, we have invested $218,000 in 17 local cooperatives and small businesses.
We focus on closing the capital gap for cooperatively-owned businesses while prioritizing entrepreneurs from traditionally underserved communities—including first-time, low-income, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, and immigrant entrepreneurs, as well as entrepreneurs with disabilities—who face additional barriers accessing capital due to historic and structural oppression.

Why cooperatives?

Co-ops are worker-owned and community-owned businesses that often activate deeper social relationships for economic impact. Colorado co-op ecosystem is growing, and this event will highlight multiple cooperative businesses in Colorado who are seeking to raise capital.
