Co-Location, Co-Location, Co-Location
About this Event
Join Solar Energy UK for a focused half-day event exploring the growing commercial and strategic importance of co-located solar and battery storage projects.
As grid constraints, flexibility requirements, and evolving policy reshape the energy landscape, co-location is becoming an increasingly important route to improving project economics, maximising grid connections, and unlocking additional revenue opportunities.
The event will bring together influential voices from across government, industry, investment, and infrastructure, including a session titled 'In conversation with Chris Stark', of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). We will examine the real-world commercial, regulatory, and operational considerations shaping project viability and deployment.
Attendees will gain:
- Insight into the market and policy developments influencing co-located projects
- Perspectives on evolving revenue models and flexibility opportunities
- Practical discussion around delivery, grid, operational, and regulatory challenges
- The opportunity to connect with developers, investors, and industry decision-makers across the value chain
The programme will begin at 1pm, with keynote presentations and panel discussions running through to 5pm, followed by a networking reception from 5pm onwards.
