CMSP Recital Series: Jisoo Kim, piano

You don't want to miss this exciting program on Saturday, April 13th at 2:00pm in Trinity Episcopal Church! Join us for an afternoon of piano and chamber music featuring Jisoo Kim on piano, Sarah McCown on clarinet, and Emma Scofield on cello. The program will feature piano works by Haydn, Beach, and Rachmaninoff, along with chamber pieces by Saint-Saëns and Fauré.
Jisoo Kim earned her BM, MM and Performer Diploma from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She received Honorable Mention at Festival de Musica Classica i Concurs in Puigcerda, Spain, and is a recipient of a Music Faculty Award, Music Dean’s Scholarship, Indiana University’s Recognition Scholarship, and an International Services Undergraduate Award. Currently, as a doctoral candidate of Musical Arts at Shenandoah Conservatory, Jisoo continues to teach piano as a private studio teacher. This year Jisoo was a featured soloist with the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra as the Graduate Keyboard Division Winner for the Student Soloist Competition.
