CMS Foraging Trip to Parc-nature du Bois-de-L'Ile-Bizard

Calling All Nature Enthusiasts!

On June 23rd, 2024, we're going to the lovely Bois-de-L'Île-Bizard nature park for some hiking and foraging.

We'll meet at 9h30 in front of Concordia University's Hall Building (1455 Blvd. De Maisonneuve Ouest, Montreal, Quebec H3G 1M8). The bus leaves at 10h00 and we cannot wait for late attendees!

We will then board the bus and drive to the park. Once we arrive, around 10h45, we'll disperse and explore the forest for fungi! You may wander off by yourself, or stick with the club.

We'll meet back up at 14h30 (2:30pm) for a late lunch and to compare findings. We board the bus at 16h00 (4:00pm) to return to Concordia University's Hall Building for drop off. (Estimated drop off: 4:45 pm)

People of any age are welcome (and encouraged), including non-Concordia students. Tickets are $10 for Concordia students and $15 for general admission. (Please bring a Student ID to show if you purchase a Concordia Student Ticket!)

Please dress for the weather, and bring a lunch and plenty of water, as we'll be walking around outdoors and there will be nowhere to purchase lunch on site.

*Note: If you have your own method of transportation, feel free to join us by car! We should arrive around 10:45 am. No ticket is necessary. The park does charge a fee for parking.
