About this Event
OBJECTIVE
CMPA-BC is pleased to announce an opportunity to participate in an intimate and interactive workshop aimed at unpacking Interprovincial (BC and another province) and Intraprovincial (within BC) co-production agreements. The session will provide hands-on access to real contracts and real-life case studies within the Canadian co-production landscape.
Our expert facilitator will explore such topics as project ownership, copyright/ intellectual property (IP), creative control/ representation, business partnership arrangements, and how to build out contract language that support all parties. The material will be geared to emerging and mid-career producers.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The 90 minute workshop will be held in-person at the CMPA-BC office in downtown Vancouver and is limited to 12 people. A portion of seats will be reserved for members from systemically excluded groups.
