Join us for an exclusive week-long residency as City Music Foundation Artists perform at the iconic Kenwood House for a lunchtime recital at 11:15am each day. And why not stay after for a wander and lunch in the cafe at Kenwood?
Wednesday 25th November – Intesa Duo
Intesa is a duo for voice and viol formed by Lucine Musaelian and Nathan Giorgetti, exploring the rich relationship between the two instruments through self-accompanied performance. Intesa was formed in 2023 at the Royal Academy of Music. Their name, an Italian word meaning “understanding” or “meeting of minds”, reflects the collaborative ethos at the heart of their work. Their programme brings European and Armenian folk and early music traditions together through storytelling and song, with music by Monteverdi, Strozzi and Caccini and Sayat-Nova, Komitas Vardapet and more.
