Last years inaugural Clubbin’ on Wheels was such a success, we’re bringing it back as an annual event. For specific details, chat to the bar team, but as an overview:A Poker Run is an organised event where likeminded motoring enthusiasts get together and enjoy a day out, travelling across the wider City limits. Anyone with a road legal vehicle is welcome to participate and bring passengers.
If you’d like to play a Poker Hand for this event, each hand is $20. Players will select one playing card at each check point, and by the end of the day, you will have collected five playing cards – representing a poker hand. The player with the best hand, wins the cash.
Poker runs can give you a chance to explore some territory or other local Clubs you may not have visited before. Another reason for these events is to raise money for a charity – and in this instance, for Blue September | Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ.
