This is not a drill - come, and remember that you are alive.
Being alive requires nothing more than your presence.
It looks different every day - sometimes we remember we are alive when we scratch our knee and shed a tear, sometimes it’s picking a flower. It may be cooking a meal, or hearing a song for the first time. The moments that create a temporary rift in our performative everyday-lives, and ripple into the coming days. Life has a way of making us forget that we have all the tools available to us in order to feel alive. This night will help you remember, by providing you with the gifts of presence, connection, creativity and music.
We invite you to show up exactly as you are - breathing, moving, sensing.
What to expect?
This is not a party, it’s a movement. Born from a deep desire to create a space where presence replaces performance, we invite you into living soundscapes, combined with breathing visual art. Some call it a club-night, and we could as well, but it wouldn’t describe our intention. Music will be curated by three female DJs that all play intuitively, to gift you with rhythms to guide your body and soul. We wish to combine a curated selection of tracks, with elements of live-electronica if we dare to push the boundaries of our own expression, and invite play into the moment.
None of us have done this in such a form, so we don’t even know what to expect.
The dancefloor has historically been a place that dissolves expectations and social norms - where boxes are irrelevant, and masks can finally come off. A space that can hold us in all our perfect imperfection, reminding us how alike we are by the fact that we are all alive. The ultimate disobedience against all that is established structurally, giving your body a place to move safely, freely, in connection with others. Club.alive intends to bring that back, and we invite you to co-create that with us.
The aliveness in you, will bring the aliveness to this night. We welcome you in your full expression.

Respect also applies to oneself - by respecting yourself, you learn to better respect others!
It’s an active practice of valuing each others individuality, honoring our boundaries and treating ourselves and each other with dignity and kindness.
Respect is not controlling someone or making demands. When we do that, we fail to recognize each other’s freedom.
