Berlin-based Curses brings a romantic edge to the dance floor, blending 80's New Wave, the darker side of Italo-Disco and flashes of EBM with his own ghostly vocals.The debut album from Curses, 'Romantic Fiction' dropped on Jennifer Cardini's Dischi Autunno imprint in October 2018, launching his live act which brings the guitars, vocals and energy of the album to stage as a duo. Whether it's DJng in the main room at Circoloco DC-10, or performing live at festivals like, Nuits Sonores, Curses brings punk and new wave energy to all dance floors of any size. Curses has also released on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Bordello A Parigi, Oráculo Records, and Wrong Era, and curated a double- LP vinyl compilation (NEXT WAVE ACID PUNX) Via Belgian powerhouse, N.E.W.S, showcasing a passion for New Beat, Early EBM, Post-punk and obscure Italo which gained critical acclaim worldwide. The 2nd album, 'Incarnadine' returned to Dischi Autunno in April, 2022, with a special edition vinyl in collaboration with Parisian Fashion brand, Saint Laurent. And lastly as of October 20th, NEXT WAVE ACID PUNX part two was released! Curses continues to bring a romantic and punk energy to the club, threading the ethereal nostalgia of the 80s and 90s into the future of now.

Jennifer Cardini (Correspondant, Dischi, Lisbon)
For the last 30 years, French-born Berlin-based Jen Cardini has been welcoming people into the discotheque. Their belief that something more was hidden under the surface of electronic music has put them at the helm of tiny sweaty lesbian bars, flamboyant Ibiza superclubs, and precarious off-the-beaten-path warehouse raves.
The sometimes-gothic always-seductive wave-laced house music they canonized in their mixes, record labels (Correspondant, DISCHI), remixes, and productions helped rephrase the world's understanding of the French dance music scene. The transformative power of music has been a constant inspiration for Cardini and feeds their creative curiosity. Just as soon as the mainstream thinks they know how to define them, they’re onto something else. It is an essential piece of their status as an underrecognized pioneer. Their party series Nightclubbing is - “a love declaration to club culture and its diversity, everything that made me fall in love with electronic music, and also gave me a sense of community and belonging.” The disco may be getting bigger, but Cardini continues to welcome the outsiders in with their selections and curation. Although the mainstream may never catch up to their icon status, the underground has already crowned Cardini, ensuring that if they do, they sure will have a lot of music to sift through.
DJ Nark (Bottom Forty, Massive)
Nark, aka Kevin Kauer, founder of Bottom Forty and Nark Magazine, has devoted his life to dance music and club culture. Nark, also known as Kevin Kauer or KK, is a pivotal figure in the dance music and queer scenes of the Pacific Northwest.
As the head of Bottom Forty Records as well as owner, booker, and lead resident at Massive Club in Seattle, Nark has spent nearly two decades shaping nightlife and culture in Seattle into a flourishing and creative community. Massive, which opened in late 2023, stands as a modern cultural and dance music hub in Seattle. Additionally, Nark co-runs Young Hearts alongside artist Simon Malvaez, a cross-generational event in San Francisco that reintroduces classic disco to new audiences while championing queer, trans and POC communities in a traditionally less diverse arena.
Beyond the music, Nark is a passionate advocate for queer rights. Recently, he played a key role in passing Washington State's Bill 6105, which decriminalized queer bodies, introduced liquor to strip clubs, and secured workers' rights for entertainers, fundamentally transforming the state's nightlife landscape forever.
As a DJ his sound is rooted in analog warmth but remains a flurry of diversity bouncing between classic disco, acid house, techno and back again. As a producer and remixer, Nark has released on labels such as NEIN, 2MR, Soulclap, Mr Intl and more.

In 2003 Shameless Northwest started off as a weekly underground indie dance night in the basement of the Alibi Room and has since become one of the cities most respected underground dance music collectives by throwing numerous legendary club nights, afterparties, Decibel Festival events, rooftop and day time parties. From day one, each Shameless party was a special one regardless of the wide ranges of genres and bookings represented. With an eye towards the cutting edge, but deep respect for electronic music’s rich history, Shameless has kept its finger on the pulse of Seattle’s underground for over 2 decades and yet keeps looking forward. They continue to produce annual events such as the seasonal rooftop sunset party Deck'd Out, The Breakfast Club (New Years Day) and Memorial Day Hijinks with the Desert Hearts crew and various one off events like Club YES, Synesthesia, The Social & more!
