Club VHS moves to Eye: opening night

Last summer, a long-cherished dream came true: bringing the only videotheek in the Netherlands back to life. We started because we were tired of streaming: too many platforms, too much scrolling, and too little surprises. We also noticed more and more often, that great films simply disappeared and weren’t to be found on any platform. At Club VHS, great films deserve a spot on a shelf and we believe that wandering past the shelves, picking up a DVD case, and discovering a title you never would have clicked on otherwise is actually fun.

We quite literally grew out of the bridge house, so opened a second pop-up location at FC Hyena. Our completely reasonable urge to keep expanding, sent us searching for a bigger space, and we ended up talking to Eye Filmmuseum. One look at the beautiful former museum shop and we were sold!

This Thursday, the 21st of May we are opening our new main location at Eye Filmmuseum: the place to celebrate film.
