STOCKHOLM MASSIVE! Get ready for a heavyweight musical journey! We are thrilled to welcome DJ Gekko to the control tower for this exclusive session!
DJ Gekko is a prominent Stockholm-based reggae selector, DJ, and a highly dedicated vinyl collector. Deeply rooted in the Swedish reggae community for over two decades, he is widely recognized for his deep crates and vast knowledge of roots reggae, sweet lovers rock, and high-energy dancehall music.
As an active member of the well-known Swedish reggae sound system Concrete Steppaz and the Stockholm Open DJ Crew, Gekko is a true veteran of the underground scene, he has been a driving force keeping the culture alive—even sharing the stage and supporting prominent international artists like Million Stylez.
Whether spinning a smooth, nostalgic "Straight Roots & Lovers" vinyl set or dropping a heavyweight, gritty selection of 90s dancehall bangers, Gekko represents the true essence of a "selecta." He perfectly bridges respect for the history of the music with the modern energy.
While he is a staple of Stockholm's nightlife, Gekko’s musical selections have crossed borders. His sets have shaken dance floors across Sweden (Gothenburg, Västerås, Norrköping) and stretched across the globe to Germany (Hamburg, Nuremberg), Austria (Innsbruck), Switzerland (Geneva), Italy (Catania), and Ethiopia (Addis Ababa).
Do not miss this session—good vibes, heavy bass, and pure energy are guaranteed! 🇯🇲
