AUDITIONS & CALLBACKS FOR BRÜKA THEATRE’S FIRST SHOW OF BRUKA’S 33RD SEASON - CLUB INFERNOAugust 23, 2025 from 1-3pm &
August 24, 2025 from 5-7pm.
Reno, NV -. Brüka Theatre will hold callbacks for Club Inferno written by Peter Fogel & Kell Kittell and Directed by Kell Kittell. This is part of Brüka Theatre’s 33rd Season - Wild Card. We hope you will share your talent with The Brüka Theatre and our community. Note: Season auditions will be held later in the fall of 2025.
This is an open call for actor/singer/dancers age 21 plus who would like to be considered for this raucous and fabulous show. Cold readings will be available at the auditions.
Auditioning for the first show of the season: CLUB INFERNO (The Road To Fame Is Hell) - Rehearsals begin late August, the show plays in October, 2025. Author Kell Kittell also directs. The story ~ Nightclub diva Dante is electrocuted mid-performance and wakes up in the most fabulous nightclub of all—Hell! Guided by the ancient poet Virgil, she journeys through an all-women underworld: nine levels, each ruled by icons from Cleopatra to Marie Antoinette. Along the way, she confronts the sins of fame, desire, and excess, all to an addictive glam-rock score. Filled with scandalous humor, dazzling costumes, and literally electrifying performances, the show turns Dante’s Divine Comedy into a cabaret of sin and redemption. By the end, our Dante discovers that in Hell, the only way out is to own exactly who you are—heels and all.
CASTING:
Virgil - A manly straight man in Hell. The classic helper. Sent from Heaven to guide Dante through the 9 levels of Hell. Guitar playing a plus, but not required. 35- 50 years old.
The Three Terribles, Hell’s favorite demons - Age 21 plus. Gender blind casting. Singing & dancing is a plus.
Durga The Destroyer/Multiple Roles Possible. 25 - 50. Gender Blind. Bellydancing, finger cymbals a plus.
Also casting the roles of Isadora Duncan and Marie Antoinette ages 21 - 40.

DISCLAIMERS: Brüka Theatre is a non - professional theatre company. There is no financial compensation for working on the show. Cast members will be asked to sign a contract to be part of the ensemble. If cast in the show, we ask that you limit your theatrical commitments during the rehearsal and run of the show. If you have pre-set commitments we will do our best to accommodate them in our rehearsal process. Rehearsal time is limited, so we will do our best to schedule rehearsals for maximum benefit.
THE DAY OF THE AUDITION: please enter Brüka Theatre from the side-door entrance located in downtown Reno on First Street. Doors will be open 15 minutes before the audition. Sides will be available for cold readings.
LOCATION: Brüka Theatre is located at 99 N. Virginia Street at the corner of First and Virginia Streets in downtown Reno next to the Virginia Street Bridge.
PARKING: We suggest convenient parking in the Court Street parking lot across from The Pioneer Theater and walking across the new Virginia Street Bridge to Brüka, FREE after 5:00 PM and all day Saturday and Sundays.We also validate parking at the Parking Gallery on First and Sierra Street. Please enter through the side door on First Street up to 15 minutes before the audition time.
