Chani Nattan and Inderpal Moga are a dynamic Indian hip-hop duo from Surrey, British Columbia, who are at the forefront of the global Punjabi music scene. Their collaboration is a powerful fusion of lyrical mastery and powerful vocals, blending traditional Punjabi sounds with modern hip-hop, trap, and R&B.

Chani Nattan, a talented lyricist and rapper, began his career writing religious music, inspired by the Sikh Kavishris his father hosted at their home. He later transitioned to commercial music in 2019, but his passion for songwriting was validated when he wrote the hit song "Umbrella" for superstar Diljit Dosanjh. Chani's style is heavily influenced by the 2000s hip-hop and artists like Jazzy B, allowing him to seamlessly weave his cultural roots into his music. He has been a key figure in the rising wave of Punjabi-Canadian hip-hop, with a unique ability to craft compelling narratives and create hits for a global audience.

Inderpal Moga, a versatile singer and rapper, started his musical journey in Punjab, India, where he performed at school and religious gatherings. When he moved to Surrey, Canada, he continued to pursue his passion, eventually connecting with Chani Nattan. Inderpal's ability to adapt his powerful vocals to a variety of beats—from trap to bhangra to R&B—made him the perfect complement to Chani's writing. Their creative partnership is built on a shared vision and a brotherly bond, resulting in a sound that is both authentic and innovative.

The duo's breakthrough came with their 2021 track, "Daku," which became a viral sensation, amassing billions of streams and hundreds of millions of views. Since then, they have continued to produce a string of successful releases, including "FaceTime," "Noormahal," and "Coolin'." Their joint work, including their debut album NICE DAY IN THE PIND, showcases their ability to blend gangster rap with Punjabi culture, creating a vibrant and feel-good journey through life in Surrey.

Chani Nattan and Inderpal Moga have earned a place on the international stage, performing at major festivals and earning a Juno Award nomination for South Asian Music Recording of the Year. They are signed to 91 North Records, a joint venture between Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India, and are widely regarded as pioneers in bridging the gap between Eastern and Western music. Their story is one of dedication, innovation, and a shared commitment to showcasing their culture through their art.
