Explore Club and Street Dance Styles in this engaging 9-week series, designed for dancers of all levels and backgrounds!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This series offers a deep dive into two exciting styles:
🔥House Dance (Weeks 1-4): We dive into club dance with a focus on House Dance, a genre born in the underground club scenes. We’ll start with foundational moves and explore the dynamic music and DJ that define the movement. We will play with various vocabulary / techniques or movements and apply them within the form of a combination or cypher.
🔥Hip Hop Freestyle (Weeks 5-9): Transition into the dynamic realm of Hip Hop freestyle, where you’ll explore social dances, grooves, and flow. Learn how to blend various techniques to enhance your personal dance style while diving into the history and culture.
Throughout the series, you’ll build your own dance aesthetic, gaining insights into the history, music, and culture that make these styles unique.
Join us to dance, connect, and celebrate the powerful traditions that are club and street styles. We will cypher / open practice at the end of every class
