On Saturday 15th November Norwich's mighty CLOWNSMASHEVERYTHING will bring their relentless, slab-heavy angular post-punk thrills to Norwich’s newest venue, DEAD WAX SOCIAL.
Genre-spanning hardcore dandies ClownSmashEverything have been described as “combining the best aspects of punk, metal, and desert rock,” and “Tool on crack.” Make of that what you will; crack is a hell of a drug… Glorious choruses serve as the perfect foil to angular, nasty riffs and wry, darkly humorous lyrics spat with venom and bile. Post-millennial angst for the terminally optimistic. You can dance to it, too.

Support comes from “recently un-retired” Norwich punk royalty WASHED UP, formed in 2006 by legends Barlz and Dave - long-term friends but in different bands - their inevitable collaboration resulted in a high-energy torrent of catchy punk mixed with 80s-style rock. Two albums and EPs later, they continue to be the self proclaimed 'saviours of rock'n'roll.'
