Hello Folks
The Weird Ticket is putting out feelers to gauge interest for a workshop with international clown trainer Pedro Fabiao. Pedro is in town training the clown doctors so the wider community has a fabulous opportunity to work with an exceptional teacher. I have worked with him previously and his teaching is full of energetic passion, enormous fun and deep humanity. All details for the potential workshop and Pedro’s bio are listed below, if you are interested please respond as soon as you can as the time to organise this is short, please indicate if you would like to do a 1 or 2 day workshop, ideally 2 days would be great to get the most out of the workshop. The workshop will take place somewhere close to the Perth metro area. It would be much appreciated If you could forward this on to anyone who may be interested.

Clown - Being before Doing - Clowning in Connection between Inside and Outside
Deep workout in clown state and presence, finding the mask and counter-mask of the clown, clear emotions and freedom, discovering it in continuous complicity with both the audience and partner. Make the journey from you - the performer - to the clown, and from the clown to clown play, and back. Rely on your breath and body awareness to guide you through basic and revealing clown improvisations. Cut through distorted notions of what Clown is and find it in the reality of your own authentic experience.
Pedro is a clown, actor, director, teacher and psychodramatist. He directed the Portuguese clown organisation www.narizvermelho.pt and performed, trained and directed actors and clowns in about 20 countries in 5 continents.
His main passions are Clown, Bouffon, Physical Theatre and Improv. He works/has worked for organisations like Red Nose International (Europe + Middle East), Healthy Humor (USA), Ecole de Clown et Comedie (Canada), International School of Humour (Europe), The Humour Foundation (Australia), Google, McKinsey, Executive MBA Columbia Business School, among many others.
