3 for 1! 3 idiots, 1 show! 3 “shows” in 1 sitting! The Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost of clown, for all you bible-heads. THREE AWARD-WINNING (AND TECHNICALLY NOTORIOUS) CLOWNS, ALICE Gillette (“Denver”), SARAH Knittel (Philly/ LA theoretically), and JACKIE Skinner (emotionally lost), work through what they’re working through for your eyes only ** :)~~~~. Come see why they're working, or just why they're in town.
Here are descriptions of what you'll be seeing...
SILLYSTRINGC*MTIME (Sarah Knittel): A pupu platter of performance from someone really hot and dumb.
MEAT SHOW IN SPACE (Alice Gillette): Meat Show is a man (derogatory) who’s cracked his space helmet on his first day at work. What a butterfingers! Now, with his oxygen running low, Meat Show doesn’t call for rescue. He instead begs the audience (our STARS!) for a fleeting moment of clarity: more wishes, please!
As he float dying (sic), this clown must face the highbrow despair of existing both poorly and temporarily while being soundtracked live (and too beautifully) by Bryan Richard Martin (Cotton Jones, Page France.)
It’s a cheap, messy, 30 minute public reckoning about fatalism, the aesthetic of a re-wired brain and how the patriarchy will still find a way to suck the life out of you, even when you’re out of oxygen.
COMPOSED (Jackie Skinner): A gorgeous woman is alone. A psychological thriller attempt. “The best comment Jackie Skinner ever got after a performance sounded like an insult. 'There’s something wrong with you,' a woman told her..." - The Boston Globe, May 2025… “I didn’t know if half of what was happening was supposed to be happening? Jackie Skinner is either really good...or REALLY bad.” - Audience member, August 2024.

SARAH KNITTEL
Sarah Knittel (writer/performer) is a theater artist, festival co-founder, event producer, and clown.
She is the founder/curator of DUMB HUB. Sarah helped found Free Fringe Philly festival, which created accessibility to Fringe work in Philadelphia by eliminating costs and ticket prices while supporting the artists. Free Fringe Philly won a coveted arts spot on the Best Of 2021 list from Philly Magazine. Most recently, Sarah won the inaugural Denver Sketch Festival with her show Sarah Knittel/Marina Abramovic as well as being named 2025 Mr. Silverlick in Big D's drag king competition. Sarah on a stage has been described as “totally engaging” and “the work of a pro, fearlessly engaging the audience from start to finish, until we are all practically co-stars, or at least co-conspirators.” (Broad St Review) Hailed “Philly Actors Who Are Better Than You (at acting)... ” (Phindie) The creator of Ben Franklin Sex Party, Make a F*cking Show, You P.O.S., and NIGHTMARE FUEL, a brutal clown show, which won the “Spirit of the Fringe” award in 2019 at Cincinnati Fringe. It was also one of the recipients of 1812’s Jilline Ringle Fund. It garnered four stars in Edinburgh Fringe and was lauded as “a quintessential niche fringe experience” by the Wee Review. Sarah produces a multitude of events throughout Philadelphia including a monthly variety experience called HELLRIDE. Sarah now lives and (is trying to find meaning) in Los Angeles.
JACKIE SKINNER
Jackie Skinner is a comedic performance artist and director from Waltham, Massachusetts, now based in Los Angeles. Recently, their show “Jackie and Allison Into the Multiverse” won BEST COMEDY at the 2025 NYC Fringe, has toured comedy festivals all over the US (as well as Toronto and Montreal), was featured in the Boston Globe as “elevating absurdity to art.”
“The best comment Jackie Skinner ever got after a performance sounded like an insult. 'There’s something wrong with you,' a woman told her..." - The Boston Globe, May 2025
an ex-NYC-er now two years in to living in California, they've recently created Clown Storm, a work-in-progress space for LA artists to take big swings, has taken their solo clown show “Beautiful Night” to Edinburgh Fringe (mentioned in the LA Times), and is brewing up their new project "Composed," which was featured in Philly Fringe’s Dumb Hub this year where a reviewer wrote: “I don't think I was prepared for it by how fun and bonkers the show was for the first forty minutes.” She is now working on the back 10 minutes.
Other neat festivals where Jackie was featured: iO Chicago’s Comedy Festival, Seattle’s Highlarious Comedy Festival, Boston Fringe, Austin Sketchfest, Toronto Sketchfest, Montreal Sketchfest, New York City Fringe, Indianapolis Comedy Festival, and Funniest Person in Austin.
ALICE GILLETTE
Alice Gillette is a Denver-based performance artist, teacher, director and clown (if that’s okay). She helped start Idiot Theatre in Denver and produces weird shows all over the Mile High City. Alice has toured her solo show “Meat Show in Space” across the US. When her show premiered at the 2025 Denver Fringe Festival, it was immediately highlighted as, “a standout example of the festival’s signature blend of absurdity” by Denver Westword in its first week.
Her performances as Meat Show have been described “delightfully dadaist” by audiences and as “a force to be reckoned with in alt comedy” by local press (Out Front Magazine). First hand, Alice has heard different versions of the following endorsements many times after shows: “my boyfriend actually liked it!” and “go get a mental evaluation, please!”
A journalist once called Alice “remarkably intelligent”, and upon reading this, Alice looked up the definition of “remarkably” on the internet. Notice her on alicefanclub.com.
