ClownCraft Oslo is an intensive laboratory—a journey through presence, play, vulnerability, and creation. This week serves artists who treat clowning as a serious practice, with attention to craft and the fine art of being human.
✨ The Focus of the Week
(Re)discovering your clown: Letting go of older ideas and assumptions.
Creative Ground: Treating confusion and surprise as your foundation.
Somatic Awareness: Mindfulness and body-awareness to free the clown.
Presence vs. Producing: Sensing when you are "making it happen" versus when the clown is genuinely present.
human & Artistic: Distinguishing your human essence from your artistic expression, then mixing them consciously.
Radical Presence: Giving the clown the full stage without judgment.
Nature as a Mirror: Working outdoors to explore rhythm, truth, and presence.
Who is this training for?
Professional performing artists.
People who want to make clowning a serious part of their work or life.
Those wishing to discover or rediscover their clown.
Participants who have done intensive training with Patrick or other teachers.

The Philosophy
Clowning is a precise mix of our human essence and our artistic expression. This week helps you develop your own unique "grammar" of clowning. It is a place where your clown can be born—or reborn—balancing the deeply serious with the profoundly playful.
