Clothing Swap at the Mad Monk

A little reminder about our Community Clothing Swap, as this community event grows 💛
The goal of this event is to keep beautiful clothing circulating within our community.
Please bring clean, gently used clothing that you would genuinely feel good about giving to a friend or loved one.
We ask that you leave at home anything that is stained, torn, heavily worn, promotional t-shirts, restaurant or work shirts, race or event shirts, outdated holiday shirts, or clothing that is unlikely to be worn again.
Quality is far more important than quantity!!
We'd much rather have a few stylish pieces, than bags full of clothing that no one is likely to choose.
While we do donate clothing that doesn't find a new home, our Clothing Swap is not a donation drop off!!!
Items are first offered to our community through the swap..
If a piece has gone through several swaps without being chosen, we will then donate it to Food Not Bombs and/or CASA so it can continue serving our community
If your intention is simply to donate clothing, we encourage you to take it directly to one of those organizations rather than bringing it to the swap.
Before adding something to the swap, ask yourself one simple question...
Would I be excited to find this?
If the answer is yes, bring it!
