Clothing Repair Workshop: Stitches For Mending

Join Hilary in this intimate beginner friendly 2-hour workshop and learn essential practical and decorative stitches which you can use to start mending your clothes! You will learn how to apply different techniques to different types of garments such as shirts, denim, skirts, school uniform and leggings.

All material will be provided, but you are welcome to bring along an item of clothing for advice which we can discuss with the group.

You will take home:

• A sample swatch of stitches which you will have made during the class
• An information sheet detailing what you have learned
• Ideas and knowledge to help you start mending your own clothes!

Optional: kits available to purchase as an add-on via Eventbrite or in person at the workshop

Suitable for beginners or those with some knowledge of sewing – all welcome!
