Clothing Repair Workshop: Darning on Denim

Join Hilary in this intimate beginner friendly 2-hour workshop and learn how to darn a patch on your jeans! The skills you will learn can be applied to any woven fabric such as jeans and shirts but also to a variety of different knitwear such as jumpers and socks.

All material will be provided, but you are welcome to bring along an item of clothing for advice which we can discuss with the group.

You will take home:

• A sample swatch which you will have made during the class
• An information booklet detailing what you have learned
• Ideas and knowledge to help you start mending your own clothes!

Optional: kits available to purchase as an add-on or in person from the workshop.

Suitable for beginners or those with some knowledge of sewing – all welcome!
