Clothing Repair Workshop Darning 2: Scotch Darning and Herringbone Darning

Join Hilary in this intimate beginner friendly 2-hour workshop and learn further darning techniques! The skills you will learn are predominantly applied to a variety of different knitwear mends such as jumpers and socks but could also be used to mend woven fabrics such as jeans and shirts.

All material will be provided, but you are welcome to bring along an item of clothing for advice which we can discuss with the group.

You will take home:

• A sample swatch which you will have made during the class
• An information sheet detailing what you have learned
• Ideas and knowledge to help you start mending your own clothes!

Optional: kits available to purchase as an add-on via Eventbrite or in person at the workshop

Suitable for beginners or those with some knowledge of sewing – all welcome!
