Clothes Swap By Lockup Vintage

Looking for an exciting and sustainable way to get new clothes? Our clothes swap event is the perfect way to shop eco-friendly whilst getting rid of your unwanted or unworn clothes. Come along to this unique shopping experience, featuring a live DJ and drinks, to hunt for an amazing new wardrobe. Grab a drink with friends after you've finished swapping and shop from our Lockup Vintage pop up stand or enjoy the live DJ.

How it works:

- Bring 5 - 15 items of clothing

- The event is split into 2 time slots (10:30am or 14:00pm) so please pick the time that suits you best

- We strongly encourage you to pre book as we will only have a very small number of tickets on the door if we do not sell out

- Please keep a record of your confirmation email for entry

- You will have a 30 minute arrival time slot to check in and grab a drink before the swap begins. Please be sure to arrive during your given time slot for a quicker check in experience.

- You will receive a stamp for each item of clothing you bring. We grade items in two categories: Grade A (designer, high end vintage) and Grade B (high street, unbranded and everything else). Each Grade A item gets you two stamps and each Grade B item gets you one stamp. Use two stamps to redeem Grade A items or one stamp to redeem Grade B items.

- Browse all the rails and try on items whilst enjoying a live DJ and drinks

- Check out at the reception desk after you've finished swapping and have your stamp card updated

- If you have spare stamps at the end you can bring them along to any future swap events.

- This event is in partnership and raising money for the local Manchester charity Mustard Tree

- Time slot 1: Arrival 10:30am - 11:00am, Swap 11:00am - 13:00pm

- Time slot 2: Arrival 14:00pm - 14:30pm, Swap 14:30 - 4:30pm

What to bring:

- We accept all items of clothing, paired shoes and bags.

- We ask you to bring minimum of 5 items and a maximum of 15 items

- We do not accept children's or baby clothes, underwear, swimwear and jewellery

- Please bring items that are clean and free of faults

- Please bring a reusable bag to take away your new items as we do not provide carrier bags

TIP: Organise your items into Grade A and Grade B categories before you arrive for a quicker check in experience

Please note: Please only bring items you are happy to swap. Once you have donated an item to the swap you will not be able to change your mind. All garments remaining after the event will be donated to Mustard Tree.
