If you want to support first time drag performers, want to do drag for the first time, or just want to support a great non-profit, this is your opportunity!Join the Imperial Court of Kentucky at The Bar Complex at 8:00 pm on Saturday 27 September for the Julie Vaughn Memorial Closet Ball.
First time drag performers (never accepted tips or payment for performing in drag before) will be paired with a local drag performer and have an hour to get in drag. Then they’ll compete in a pageant to be Closet Ball winner 2025. If this interests you and you would like an application, contact one of the Monarchs: Their Most Imperial Majesty, Emprex XLIV Marilyn Monáe or Her Most Imperial Majesty, Empress XLIV, Kasi Nova.
No cover before 9:00 pm and net proceeds to benefit the charities of the Imperial Court of Kentucky.
