Close to You: The Music of the Carpenters

Considered one of the best vocalists of all time, Karen Carpenter captured the attention of a generation with her unabashedly catchy pop music. Singer and playwright Lisa Rock and her six-piece band bring Carpenter's music to the stage in a moving tribute to the legend's life and music. Dedicated to re-creating the true sound of The Carpenters, Rock showcases some of the most memorable songs of the 70s, including We’ve Only Just Begun, Rainy Days and Mondays, and Close to You in their original key, keeping the songs genuine and recognizable.
