Julia Vargas is a Brazilian singer and songwriter with a long-standing career rooted in Brazilian popular music, jazz-influenced harmony, and contemporary songwriting. Over the years, she has developed a very personal way of singing and interpreting songs, with a strong focus on emotion, detail, and storytelling. Her path includes performances in Brazil and abroad, as well as collaborations with important names in Brazilian music, including touring and live projects connected to Milton Nascimento. She was also associated with projects that received Latin Grammy recognition, and was finalist of The Voice Brasil, reinforcing her presence in the contemporary Brazilian music scene. Julia moves naturally between interpreting and creating, always with a strong emotional and musical identity.
Arthus Fochi is a composer, guitarist, and music producer working across Brazilian and latin music, instrumental projects, and collaborations with artists from different generations. His career has taken him through roles as performer, arranger, and musical director, both on stage and in the studio. He has worked with groups such as Banda de Pau e Corda, and recently produced a single featuring Brazilian music legend Geraldo Azevedo, highlighting his ongoing dialogue with key figures in Brazilian songwriting. His guitar work is marked by harmonic richness, rhythmic sensitivity, and a very narrative approach to sound.
Together, they come back in a close, stripped-down duo format where voice and guitar are at the center. What you hear is shaped by listening, improvisation, and a long shared history, the kind of musical connection that only time can build.
