At the 250th anniversary of the passing of John Harrison, master clockmaker, Lester explores his City links and the remarkable contribution he made to navigation, global maritime trade, safety and security. The story is one of drama and intrigue and features major institutions. It has inspired popular culture to the present day and looks forward to a stellar future.
Lester Hillman is a writer, lecturer, guided walk leader, event organiser and course leader on popular astronomy. He has travelled to associated sites and time related events around the world.
