Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s biggest international outdoor music and arts festival, today announced its full lineup for this year’s event, including the hotly anticipated Saturday headliner.
British hip-hop sensation Central Cee will headline the festival on Saturday night, while other newly announced highlights include Alt-R&B songstress Jillian Rose Banks AKA BANKS, Hong Kong singer-songwriter Serrini, local music legend Carl Wong and the Hats On Band ft. Jer Lau, Korean indie-rock act The Black Skirts, American shoegaze artist Wisp, Taiwanese Mandopop star Misi Ke, Chengdu-based indie-rockers Hiperson, Filipino-Japanese singer-songwriter ena mori, and electrifying Japanese collective TURTLE ISLAND.
The newly announced acts join an eclectic lineup of international, regional and local artists already confirmed for this year’s festival, including maverick rock titan and Sunday night headliner Jack White, legendary French duo and Friday night headliners Air, UK indie icons Suede, critically acclaimed US singer-songwriter St. Vincent, trailblazing UK DJ/producer Jamie **, and British psychedelic pop-rockers Glass Animals.
The festival takes place at Central Harbourfront from Friday November 29 to Sunday December 1, 2024, with tickets priced at HK$1,990 for three-day weekend tickets and HK$1,280 for single-day tickets (with under-18 tickets at HK$1,590 for three-day and HK$880 for single-day). Children aged under three years can attend the festival for free (pre-registration for children aged under three is not required).
Showcasing the full, world-class festival experience that music fans in the city have come to know and love, this year’s Clockenflap will once again feature a spectacular outdoor environment with multiple stages, a mouthwatering array of top-quality F&B outlets, and an eclectic lineup of must-see international, regional and local acts.
Newly Added Acts
British rapper Central Cee has taken the hip-hop world by storm over the past five years with a string of chart-topping singles and albums, and more than 4 billion streams on Spotify alone. The artist behind megahits like ‘Doja’ and ‘Sprinter’ will light up the Harbourflap Stage as this year’s Saturday headliner. Alt-R&B songstress Jillian Rose Banks AKA BANKS will make her Clockenflap debut. Two of Hong Kong’s most compelling music stars have also been added to the bill, with influential singer-songwriter Serrini set to appear on Saturday and Carl Wong and the Hats On Band ft. Jer Lau playing on Friday, led by legendary composer, producer and musician Carl Wong featuring special guest Jer Lau from local super boy band Mirror and accompanied by his all-star band including Jun Kung, Jason Kui, Herman@The Hertz, The Absent Brothers, Wilson Ng and more.
Also just announced are The Black Skirts, the indie-rock project led by South Korean singer-songwriter Jo Hyu-il, Californian shoegaze artist Natalie R. Lu, better known as Wisp, Taipei-based singer-songwriter and producer Misi Ke, Chengdu’s indie-post-punk heroes Hiperson, acclaimed Filipino-Japanese singer-songwriter ena mori, and TURTLE ISLAND, an uber-eclectic Japanese ensemble who blend traditional minyo music and taiko drumming with punk, psyche-rock and a dizzying swirl of global influences.
A host of Hong Kong incredible acts have also been confirmed for this year’s festival, including shoegaze outfit Lucid Express, neo-soul collective Clave, UK-indie-rock-influenced Biascut, the jazzy sounds of Jerold & Friends, Afrobeat group The Afroseas and melodic four-piece Wantamnam and Hong Kong neo-jazz act R.O.O.T.
Must-See Legends
Fresh from the release of his sixth solo album, the brilliant ‘No Name’, the one-and-only Jack White makes his long-awaited Hong Kong debut on Sunday night, with the former White Stripes, Raconteurs and The Dead Weather front man poised to bring the festival to a triumphant conclusion. Performing their 1998 debut, retro-futuristic masterpiece ‘Moon Safari’, live in its entirety, influential French duo Air, just put on an amazing show at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics, will headline on Friday with a mesmerising show that The Guardian described as “a wild, jawdropping, widescreen extravaganza.” And St. Vincent, one of the most intriguing and consistently surprising artists of the past 20 years, will be a big draw on Saturday, with a set that encompasses her flawless back catalogue, including this year’s excellent album ‘All Born Screaming’.
Trendsetters
Clockenflap is known for bringing the hottest names in music to Hong Kong, and this year is no different. One-third of Mercury Prize-winning British indie act The **, trailblazing DJ/producer Jamie ** makes his Clockenflap debut hot on the heels of the release of his highly anticipated third album, ‘In Waves.’ Best-known for their viral megahit ‘Heat Waves’, British psychedelic pop-rockers Glass Animals arrive on the back of their acclaimed fourth album, ‘I Love You So F***ing Much’. Serving up an infectious concoction of electro house and synth-pop, Atlanta DJ/producer Porter Robinson is jetting in to perform a high-energy live set, while genre-bending Los Angeles act Fiji Blue will be on hand to captivate fans with his dreamy fusion of indie pop, electronica, and R&B, and also life-affirming festival favorites Ibrahim Maalouf.
Best of Japan
Showcasing the breadth and depth of Japan’s electrifying music scene, this year’s lineup features an eclectic collection of the country’s most exciting artists, including magnetic hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, enigmatic J-Pop vocalist yama, intricate post-rock/math rock masters toe, mesmerising girl group Sakurazaka46 and indie-pop band Cody・Lee(李).
Indie Trailblazers
From its very first edition, Clockenflap has proudly championed indie artists, and that tradition continues in this year’s lineup. Canadian indie-rockers Mother Mother arrive on the back of their ninth album, ‘Grief Chapter’, while upbeat Japanese-Australian four-piece Last Dinosaurs are touring their fifth album, ‘Kyoryu’. Other indie highlights include LA duo Bubble Tea and Cigarettes, Xi’an post-punk band FAZI, London dance-punk dynamos Fat Dog, Hong Kong post-hardcore act An Id Signal and hypnotic Dutch psychedelic rockers YĪN YĪN.
Regional Highlights
Bringing the best of the region’s musical talent to Hong Kong, Clockenflap once again welcomes a wide-ranging selection of acts from around Asia. Showcasing Taiwan’s music scene are indie favourites deca joins, Kaohsiung rockers Gigantic Roar, alternative-rock duo JADE, and the offbeat grooves of Golden English Party. Fans will also get the chance to enjoy the sounds of Thai singer-songwriter Violette Wautier and South Korean guitar princess MEMI.
Electronic Heroes
Keeping the dancefloor moving all weekend long, Clockenflap presents an eclectic lineup of top electronic acts from around the world. Canadian DJ/producer A-Trak is known for serving up an irresistible blend of electro and hip-hop, and Australia’s Partiboi69‘s anarchic brand of ghetto house is guaranteed to get the party started. Yung Singh brings the sound of the UK new Asian underground, while last but by no means least, the legendry Dave Clarke will demonstrate why he’s known as “The Baron of Techno.” Plus a special DJ and spandex set by ROBOT, where Clockenflap co-founders Jay and Mike will be welcoming Bobby Parsley to celebrate ROBOT's 25th anniversary.

全香港最大型戶外音樂及藝術節 Clockenflap 今日隆重公布 完整年度陣容，當中更包括樂迷期待已久的週六壓軸單位。
新加盟強勢單位多不勝數，包括週六重頭壓軸、火熱英國 hip-hop 新浪潮領軍人物 Central Cee；還有美國電音 R&B 女將 BANKS (Jillian Rose Banks)；博士級陀地歌姬 Serrini；本地樂壇金牌監製 王雙駿 and the Hats On Band ft. 柳應廷；南韓獨立才子 The Black Skirts；美國華裔新晉 shoegaze 女聲 Wisp；台灣創作歌手 Misi Ke 柯泯薰；成都獨立搖滾樂隊 Hiperson 海朋森；菲日混血唱作人 ena mori 及將日本祭典音樂與多國元素共冶一爐的搖滾樂隊 TURTLE ISLAND。
今回公布的新單位將會與現有的強勁陣容携手玩轉 Clockenflap，當中包括週日壓軸藍調搖滾殿堂巨星兼前 The White Stripes 主音 Jack White；早前於巴黎奧運閉幕禮獻上精彩演出的法國電音天團 Air、英倫 Brit-pop 元老 Suede；美國前衛搖滾女皇 St. Vincent、英國 dream-pop 神團 The ** 成員及 DJ/監製 Jamie **，以及英國人氣迷幻獨立樂隊 Glass Animals。
Clockenflap 將於 2024年11月29日星期五至12月1日星期日在中環海濱舉行，門票正火速發售，三天週末票價為HK$1,990，單日票價為HK$1,280 （3歲至17歲人士週末三天票價為HK$1,590，單日票價為HK$880），三歲以下幼童免費入場而無需預先登記。
今年 Clockenflap 再次傾力打造世界級全方位音樂節體驗，在標誌性的戶外場地設立多個舞台，為廣大樂迷送上一系列人生必看的國際、亞洲及本地音樂單位表演，加上精心規劃的餐飲美食，令入場人士的聽覺、視覺與味覺均能獲得無限滿足。
全新追加焦點單位
新公布的追加陣容中，最矚目單位之一要數近5年連珠喪發爆紅作品橫掃饒舌界、單在 Spotify 就累積了4百億點播的 UK drill 巨頭 Central Cee，他將帶來〈Doja〉、〈Sprinter〉等樂迷耳熟能詳的大熱作品，為星期六的 Harbourflap Stage 帶來精彩絕倫的壓軸演出。不容錯過的還有人靚聲甜電氣 R&B 美國女歌手 BANKS (Jillian Rose Banks)，今次將為 Clockenflap 獻上其香港首演。而本地樂迷亦將有幸欣賞兩個新加的重頭名字，包括形象百變、被譽為本地「獨立音樂圈的鬼怪烈女」的人氣歌手 Serrini，還有 王雙駿 and the Hats On Band ft. 柳應廷，這位曾為無數巨星如陳奕迅、謝霆鋒、麥浚龍等炮製大熱歌曲的金牌監製將與柳應廷聯手演出，加上明星班底樂隊包括恭碩良、Jason Kui、Herman@The Hertz、雷同二友、吳林峰等等，誓要上演一場「名曲滿天飛」。
新出爐名單還有曾與盧廣仲合作的南韓音樂天才趙休日的一人樂隊 The Black Skirts ；美國華裔 Shoegaze 女孩 Wisp；讓人聽出耳油的台北唱作女歌手/監製 /詩人 Misi Ke 柯泯薰；成都獨立 post-punk 5人組 Hiperson 海朋森；曾獲 NME 亞洲最佳專輯獎的菲日混血唱作女歌手 ena mori；及將日本祭典音樂、punk、迷幻搖滾與多國音樂元素共冶一爐的 TURTLE ISLAND。
一眾本地勁旅亦隆重加入今年陣容，包括香港 shoegaze 中堅 Lucid Express；neo-soul 六人團 Clave；英式搖滾樂團 Biascut；由爵士鋼琴家 Jerold Chu 領軍的 Jerold & Friends；讓人手舞足蹈的 Afrobeat 非裔樂隊 The Afroseas，以及post-rock 四人組 Wantamnam 我地希望。其他早前已公布的焦點名字還有觸執毛主音Jan Curious有份創立的香港 neo-jazz樂隊 R.O.O.T 。
國際神枱級巨星
Clockenflap 的頂班陣容今年繼續精彩，包括星期日終極壓軸單位、新專輯《No Name》好評如潮的前 The White Stripes 主音 Jack White，誓於維港舞台釋放龐大搖滾能量； 壓軸星期五晚的有最近於巴黎奧運閉幕典禮與 Phoenix 同台合奏、與 Daft Punk 並列90年代兩大最標誌性法國電音樂隊的 Air，今回於 Clockenflap 將會完整演奏其 98 年超經典法式浪漫未來主義神作《Moon Safari》專輯；星期六晚則有深受本地樂迷愛戴的 Britpop 巨頭樂隊 Suede 重臨香港，獨家送上一場足本90分鐘的特別加長版演出，誓必勾起無數集體回憶；曾與 Taylor Swift、Dave Grohl 甚至 David Byrne合作、被 Rolling Stones雜誌選為史上最偉大結他手之一的唱作女皇 St. Vincent，將為 Clockenflap 觀眾帶來今年新推出的巔峰專輯《All Born Screaming》，送上一場風格多元百變的前衛搖滾盛宴。
巨星芸集 導引潮流
Clockenflap向來以展示國際頂級音樂為己任，今年亦精選了一連串強勁單位，包括曾於11年前來港迷暈一眾本地樂迷的夢幻電音樂團 The ** 主腦 Jamie **，這位感性電氣詩人挾著剛推出的全新專輯《In Waves》參與 Clockenflap 首演，展示其唯美浪漫電音美學；擅於糅合搖滾、trip-hop、民族音樂等元素的英國牛津獨立迷幻流行樂團 Glass Animals 將帶來第四張專輯《I Love You So F***ing Much》， 以極富想像力的聲音感染 Clockenflap 樂迷；美國電音中堅、DJ/監製 Porter Robinson 亦會罕有地以完整樂隊陣容獻上不一樣的精彩現場演出；還有自命「sad boy chill house」的洛杉磯獨立音樂人 Fiji Blue，將以溫暖浪漫又帶傷感的 chamber pop / R&B 歌曲治癒樂迷；以及樂韻悠揚、正能量滿滿的 Ibrahim Maalouf。
日系樂迷朝聖祭
日本音樂向來是本地樂迷大愛的朝聖目標之一，今年 Clockenflap 亦匯聚了多個日本大熱單位，滿足觀眾的「哈日狂熱」，包括憑藉過癮洗腦動畫神曲〈Bling-Bang-Bang-Born〉爆紅的 hip-hop 二人組 Creepy Nuts；長駐日本 Spotify 熱播名單、出道至今一直戴面具的神秘覆面系歌手 yama；本地樂迷大愛的 post rock/math rock 班霸 toe；青春無敵的日本國民級女團 櫻坂46 將會成為首支登上 Clockenflap 主舞台的偶像女子團體，多位TOP人氣成員包括二期生 森田ひかる、田村保乃、守屋麗奈，三期生 山下瞳月、谷口愛季、中嶋優月 等均會參與櫻坂46的香港初次公演；以及憑〈我愛你〉MV 吸引了無數華人樂迷目光的 indie-pop 樂團 Cody・Lee(李)。
獨立新秀 前衞巨匠
Clockenflap 今年繼續貫徹獨立音樂精神，帶來一系列知名或新晉獨立單位，包括剛推出《Grief Chapter》新專輯、風格獨特的加拿大雙女主唱搖滾樂隊 Mother Mother；旋律流麗、東西洋混合體的日澳四人流行樂團 Last Dinosaurs；令人聯想起 Cigarettes After Sex 的洛杉磯華裔情侶二人組 Bubble Tea and Cigarettes；滲著濃厚 Joy Division 及 Sonic Youth 色彩的西安 post-punk 勁旅 FAZI 法茲 ；令人血脈沸騰的倫敦狂野 dance-punk 組合 Fat Dog；以夢囈式吟唱嘶叫見稱的本地傳奇 post-hardcore 中堅樂隊 An Id Signal 意色樓；以及樂貫中西的荷蘭迷幻 math rock 團 YĪN YĪN。
亞洲最強音樂盛典
Clockenflap 的亞洲陣容一向精彩絕倫，今年亦不遑多讓，一連串來自台灣的熱門單位包括風格多元、頹廢又浪漫的獨立搖滾團 deca joins；以 Leo 王為首、最近復出的高雄 punk-rock 樂團 Gigantic Roar 巨大的轟鳴、另類搖滾二人團 JADE，以及主打「屬於台灣人的經典英文歌」的台灣人氣音樂企劃 Golden English Party 英語金曲復興運動。此外，樂迷還有機會欣賞泰國比利時混血女歌手 Violette Wautier 及南韓結他女神 MEMI 的精湛演出。
電音四射
最好玩的 Clockenflap 週末一向少不了精彩電音陣容，今次將帶來一連串世界各地的頂尖電子音樂表演。以強勁節拍喚醒樂迷的跳舞因子，包括擅長糅合 electro 與 hip-hop的加拿大 DJ/監製 A-Trak；形象出位又抵死、風格獨一無二的澳洲 ghetto house 創作人 Partiboi69；結合 UK garage、grime、jungle及印度 Punjabi 音樂的英倫 DJ Yung Singh，還有被 BBC 的 John Peel 譽為「The Baron of Techno」的傳奇 DJ Dave Clarke。而適逢 ROBOT 創立25週年，Clockenflap 兩位創辦人 Jay 與 Mike 將會邀請 Bobby Parsley 上台， 並送上一個特別設計的 DJ set ROBOT Presents SPIDER GUBBINS 慶祝這個大日子。
