Join local artist Aimee and create a magical spell to add to the Cloak of Spells! Choose a person from your life who makes things more magical, then write, draw, and decorate your very own spell patch to add to the cloak.
The cloak will be worn as part of a performance called ‘Pendle Witch’, a dance theatre show for families touring across Lancashire in 2026.
The show is inspired by the 1612 Trials of the Pendle Witches. During the workshop you’ll learn more about this significant, macabre part of Lancashire’s history, and have time to consider its lasting impact on our heritage today.
This is a FREE drop-in workshop and our café will be open for a brew and cake!
Artist Biography
Aimee Williamson is a performer, dance artist and theatre maker based in Lancashire. Her work spans across ballet, contemporary, physical theatre and puppetry. She creates work for outdoor spaces using inspiration from folklore, nature and local heritage.
