Dates & Schedule:

• Day 1-5: 24th of June to 28th of July

• Time: 4 hours per day 10am to 2pm

• Location: Liverpool city center (place to be confirmed soon)

D0AY 1:

• Overview of CLO 3D and its industry applications. Setting up the software and familiarization with the interface.
• Basic tools and functionalities. Understanding the workspace and navigation.
• Introduction to fabrics and materials
• Demonstration of the digital assembly of a skirt with basic digital sewing tools

DAY 2:

• Quick review of what as been taught on Day 1

• Execution of your fist digital garment: the skirt

• Introduction on simple customisation by using the digital frabrics from the library

• Introduction of using and save different point of views

• Learn the notion of rendering : lightning, picture resolutions and saving... and demonstration of rendering.

DAY 3:

• Quick review of what as been taught on Day 2

• Making rendering from the first garment

• Demonstration of the digital sewing of a second garment : a shirt

• Execution of your second garment : a shirt

• Demonstration and execution of simple pattern modification.

DAY 4:

• Update on your experience

• Questions/Expectations

• Quick review of what as been taught on Day 3

• Introduction on advence customisation

• Learn how to do a colorway

• Make multiple renders

Day 5:

• Lets be creative with a group or individual fashion project!

• Project workday: Apply all learned skills to a final project.

• Final project completion and peer reviews.

• Final presentations. Discussion on career opportunities and next steps in 3D fashion design.

Meet the Instructor:

Sandrine Johnson is a French physical Fashion Designer before becoming a 3D Fashion Designer - CLO 3D Expert. She got 10 years + of experience in the fashion industries in France, New York, Congo and UK. She could work next to international artist all over the world and organised her own fashion show in big cities such as NYC for the Fashion Week Sep 2019, which gave her a multidimensional view in fashion. Sandrine is a passionate CLO 3D expert artist, her speciality is the realism with her "True To Life" view which helped many brands to build they garment without having physical sample. This helps to reduce the cost of fabric and fabrication. That the Sustainability way Sandrine want to bring to the Fashion World... She animated digital garment and rendered 3D fashion show and many more.

Sandrine teach CLO 3D 3D and Digital fashion at Liverpool John Moores University and in Paris at LISAA School of Art & Design.
